The restaurant and shop are based on the ideas of Slow Food and are located in a Bauhaus monument. Most of the produce used here comes from the region and 90 per cent of it is certified organic. If you're in a hurry at lunchtime, you can enjoy a three-course meal you've put together yourself in the restaurant in 45 minutes, including water and sourdough bread for 29. The menu, which changes every two months, consists of three tasting menus, one of which is vegetarian, one showcasing an Italian region, whose dishes can also be selected individually, and some classics of Italian, German and French cuisine.
Weather permitting, you can dine on the chic roof terrace. In summer, there is also an organic beer garden under old chestnut trees.
The shop sells mostly certified organic, home-made delicatessen products, directly imported specialities from Italy, natural wines, raw milk cheese, freshly caught North Sea fish, organic poultry from Württemberg and much more.
