No mercy for your calves here, as there is plenty to experience on the 83-kilometre circular cycle route. The route connects the regions of Baden, Southern Palatinate and Northern Alsace across the border. The Rhine is crossed twice on ferries, in Neuburgweier and in Leimersheim. The new cycle path is fully signposted and leads from the Baden metropolis of Karlsruhe into one of the largest contiguous floodplain landscapes in Central Europe. Impressive natural landscapes alternate with picturesque little towns.

Incidentally, there are different variants of the circular cycle route for less athletic cyclists or families with children. The tour can be shortened to 36 kilometres or 59 kilometres.
