Heimstiftung Karlsruhe
Heimstiftung Karlsruhe is a charitable foundation with a very wide range of activities
Beschreibung
In its care and residential services, the foundation looks after elderly people and people in need of care in senior centres, assisted living facilities and day care. The outpatient care service also supports older people and their relatives if the person in need of care wishes to remain in their beloved home.
Another service offered is child and youth care. Here, the foundation supports children and young people and their families through its outpatient, day-care and inpatient services. The main building, the Sybelcentrums in Sybelstraße, also houses a school for educational support. Pupils with special social and emotional support needs receive targeted support in small classes.
The employees are also active in the area of Living Perspectives. Here, they help people without a home to find accommodation and take control of their own lives. People are also supported on their way into or back into the world of work. Special services are also offered to people with mental illness who need a daily structure and can no longer live alone, as well as older people who have lived on the streets for many years. In addition, people in substitution are supported with a residential programme. The aim of the foundation is to enable people to live in dignity and provide a sense of security
