Founded in 1840, Schirm Weinig is today one of the oldest umbrella specialist shops in Germany.
Around 1880, Schirm Weinig was already supplying the court of Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Luise von Baden. Since 1903, the flagship shop has been located in the Herrmann-Billing-Haus at Kaiserstraße 201.
With a sense of tradition and quality, Schirm Weinig is now in its 5th generation of family ownership.
The original craft business even had its own in-house production facility for umbrellas and parasols until the 1960s. To this day, traditional craftsmanship is practised daily at Schirm Weinig by repairing umbrellas.
