In addition to the traditional fairytale plays for children, the programme also includes productions for adults. The theatre follows the concept of a continuous repertoire: Dramas, comedies and contemporary plays can be found as well as crime plays, problem plays, in-house productions, plays for children and young people and fairytale plays. Since 1968, there has been a children's and youth group, the Jungkäuze, which actively helps to organise productions alongside the adults. The theatre offers around 90 performances and around 4 premieres a year, has recently added readings to its repertoire and is open to guest performances.
