The Turmberg is the local mountain of the former Baden residential town of Durlach. It is 256 metres high and the north-westernmost peak of the Black Forest at the transition between the low mountain range and the hilly landscape of Kraichgau.

Beschreibung

The Turmberg terrace offers a wonderful view over Karlsruhe and invites you to linger and relax. The mountain can be climbed on foot via the "Hexenstäffele". This involves climbing the 528 steps of the stairway to the top. To get to the top of the Turmberg tower, there are a further 128 steps to climb.
