SchwarzwaldstrandHouse Schwarzwaldstrand on the outskirts of Bad Herrenalb reflects the love of the owner, a trained wooden boat builder, for wood and water. The solid timber construction, built according to ecological principles, stands on an almost triangular plot of land, which is bordered on the long side by the Alb river. The 50 metre long riverbank was carefully redesigned and integrated into the design of the outdoor area. The house consists of three L-shaped residential units, connected by a central, multifunctional unit as the communicative heart of the complex with plenty of space for socialising. All three flats are flooded with light thanks to the large, south-facing window fronts and bring nature and the landscape into the house. Each flat has its own access to the garden and the Albstrand. All three flats share a lobby with a long table - the communicative centrepiece of the house and great for seminars and celebrations. Each of the 3 flats has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, the other room has 2 single beds, and there is also a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room. Cosy, communicative and yet with the possibility to retreat thanks to the layout of the rooms - thanks to this combination, Schwarzwaldstrand is the ideal house for family celebrations and seminars with overnight accommodation for up to 18 people! In winter, the fire crackles in a wood-burning stove in each flat and provides warmth (in addition to the pleasant underfloor heating) and a feeling of security. Cooking is done in the comfortable kitchen. If you still haven't had enough of a crackling fire, you can end the evening romantically in front of the garden fireplace on the Albstrand. Bad Herrenalb has a thermal bath with a thermal spring in the spa gardens and the outdoor pool surrounded by greenery is only 100 metres away from the Black Forest beach.SchwarzwaldDeckTradition meets modernity in unique architecture! Each of the 3 DeckHouses, with a living space of approx. 80 m², is characterised by its innovative, semi-open larch wood façade and the surrounding pergolas. These elements not only offer a distinctive design, but also create a seamless connection with the surrounding nature. The large window fronts in each house open out onto private terraces on both the ground and upper floors, offering uninterrupted views across the Black Forest to the Rhine Valley. The deck houses are identical in terms of furnishings and fittings. You occupy an entire 80m² hexagonal house with 2 floors and 2 bedrooms. In the communal area, guests have access to a barrel sauna with panoramic windows, including a bathroom and a multi-purpose and relaxation room. There is also a covered barbecue and dining area with tables and seating for at least 15 people.
