The so-called "Taucherbrunnen" - named after the sculptor Konrad Taucher and designed by him in 1905 - stands to the left in front of the small church, which forms a small square at this point due to a setback from Kaiserstraße.
The sculptor chose a boy drawing water as the central motif and thus refers to the function of the fountain as a "source of life" - a popular Art Nouveau theme. The finely crafted movement of the bronze boy contrasts with the massive, high stone water basin, which is restrainedly decorated with shells, garlands and a ram's head.
Apart from minor damage, the fountain has survived the wars.
